How to convice my parents to get me an airsoft gun?

Here’s the deal, my 17th birthday is coming up later in the month, and I am a great person, I don’t smoke, drink, do drugs, or get bad school grade. My best Friends have air soft guns and go out every weekend to Play. I don’t have one. I believe that I am responsible, trustworthy and mature enough to get one. But they won’t budge on their side. Is their anything I can say that would convice them to get me one. I will wear all saftey required, im not a depressed kid either, their only response is it’s too dangours or “you’ll shoot your eye out” ( they quote the movie casue they think it’s funny)

If your friends are playing at an airsoft/paintball field then see if you can rent an airsoft gun (if available). If your parents will let you rent one then you will probably get one eventually. I got an airsoft gun at about age 11. I play paintball now but my friends were all about that age when we played airsoft. I know people that were younger than that when they got arisoft guns. Do something that will show the you are responsible, trustworthy, and mature.
