Airsoft P90 Battery

I cant find my airsoft gun hop up!!?
I have a r9 p90 airsoft gun and it has hop up but i cant find the place were you can ajust it. It should hqve an ajuster i think as its one of those good guns but i cant find it. If anyone uas one and knows were the hop up is plz plz tell me! Also can i just leave the battery always connected to my gun or is it better to take out the battery when im not using is? Plz help!!
As for the hop-up, I do not have the gun, but the hop-up adjuster is usually located on the side and is very small. It is a little stick of plastic or metal that is on the side of the gun that you can move back and forth. However, on some guns, it is a screw that you either tighten or loosen. Also, it is better to leave out the battery once you are done using it.
