M4 Electric Airsoft Rifles
Hey I got the M4 3181 AEG Electric Airsoft Rifle from hobbytron.com and i don’t know what bbs?
I’m gonna use .12 but want to know if it matters

I use .2, .12, and .20. I have a shotgun, M4, 3 Pistols 1 mini pistol and a sniper. .20 are better for snipers. Pistols dont matter because u should be close if ur using a pistol. Shot gun i would use .20 but any work. on an M4 the same goes. Dont use more then .20 though. Cause if you use 2 gram 6mm bb’s it will jam.”
So many things wrong with that. First smaller is not always better. Second, heaviers don’t jam, its the brand and quality that determine that. They are more accurate and do hurt more (don’t feel like getting into the scientific equations to prove it). You said “.2, .12, and .20″… .2g and .20 is the same thing…. No guns ammo weight can be suggested without knowing the gun and brand. “Cause if you use 2 gram 6mm bb’s it will jam.” First off it’s .2g not 2g, big difference, and the weight of the bb has nothing to do with it. And bb brands differ in diameter slightly, so the general size (6mm) has nothing to do with it. That’s what it’s suppose to shoot, although most bbs are made smaller to be safe and hopefully jam less.
We need to know your brand. If it’s a piece of crap, then crap bbs are find. All .12g are crap, so no need to argue that. If it’s a CYMA, JG, E1, or higher quality, then probably use .2g if not more (depending on gun and brand).
Point is lighter bbs = faster but more innacurate
TOO heavy = less fps, less distance, and less accurate (because they drop relatively soon
You have to find the sweet spot.
