Crosman Airsoft Batteries
Jammed airsoft gun?
My airsoft gun doesn’t shoot. It’s an electric Crosman Pulse R71. I’m not sure if it’s jammed but it won’t shoot, and the battery is charged.
You really need to specify more. How much is it “not shooting”
It could be doing nothing, working but not firing, etc. you need to specify I’m really sick of these vague questions.
Anyway, If there is nothing at all going on, as in you pull the trigger and nothing happens, It’s most likely your battery. It may be overcharged (fried), not plugged in or even not charged. Also, you could have a wiring problem in the form of a torn connector or blown fuse. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then the repair is beyond your airsoft knowledge. shoot me an email if you want clarification , or anything else for that matter.
If you pull the trigger and it sounds normal, but nothing comes out, then you either have a jam or a misfeeding problem. Use the cleaning rod it comes with to clear a jam. What you do is stick the end with the slanted part down the barrel. If you feel interference, it’s a BB. if it feels fine, look into the hop up(where the BB feeds in the mag well) to see if you can see the rod. if you can, there’s no BB and it’s not jammed. So that means the problem may be misfeeding of the magazine. First make sure it’s loaded. second, make sure it’s seated properly in the gun. if it doesn’t work, shoot some silicon oil down the mag. if the problem continues, a new mag may be in order.
