Co2 Airsoft Pistols Walmart
Beginner airsofter background knowledge?
Hey, I’m a beginner airsofter. I was planning on buying a $50-85 pistol from Dicks Sporting Goods or Walmart. I know Co2 has to be refilled, which costs money. What is better? Co2 or spring powered? I will be mostly shooting short range. How much does the average Co2 cost? And does anyone have any good recommendations for guns? I have to buy at a store, not online… and we don’t have any airsoft stores around here so… thanks a bunch guys and gals
CO2 tanks you’ll use for most all modern airsoft guns at 12g cartridges, and can’t be refilled.
Spring airsoft guns are much simpler in design and use, and more reliable. Gas airsoft guns have the potential to be more powerful and in some cases, more accurate, and are generally semi and/or fully automatic.
12g cartridges run you about $.80 per cartridge, decreasing in price when buying in bulk.
With as much as you have to spend, you can afford the best spring pistols on the market, one of which is available at Dunhams.

I can’t really make any gas suggestions since you’re buying offline, aside from the $35 Crosman AirMag C11 (Crosman’s only decent airsoft gun).
Buying online is the way to go. Unless you have an airsoft-specific store near where you live, it’s near impossible to get anything good quality.
