How should I lubricate and clean my airsoft KWA M4A1?
I have the airsoft gi RIS version KWA M4 and I need to clean it and lubricate it because I have never done that and I bought it in late march or early april. What I know right now to do is to spray silicon oil into the feed tube of the mag and the hole that the BB’s go into inside the magwell. I know to take some gun cleaning fabric and wrap it around the unjamming rod after spraying the fabric with silicon oil and then using it to clean the barrel. I have ICS silicon oil and ICS gear grease. How much silicon oil should I use for everything, is there any other parts I should clean on it, should I take out the barrel before cleaning it, how long should I let the parts sit after spraying them before I fire the gun, and is there any ohter tips that you guys have for me about this? Not sure if it’s mentioned above, and I’m not checking, but make sure you fire it a few times on semiautomatic to reset and relieve the stress on the spring before storing it.
