Cheap replica firearms?
I’m working on a short film based in the 1930′s and I need some replica guns of a Chicago Typewriter, Colt 1911, and a sawed off shotgun (preferably double barrel), and they all need to look realistic. Any other popular firearms at that time please list, whether they be american or foreign. I don’t care whether they’re airsoft or just a replica, as long as they look authentic. I’m on a budget so please try and give me the cheapest you can find. Thanks.
like the previous answer replicas aren’t cheap. but shortyusa.com has a nice little M1911 fo 20 bucks under spring guns. a bit of advice don’t get the impresion that every one was running around with tommy guns. a popular gun was the Browning Automatic Rifle but for a an airsoft or replica expect atleast 500 for it. another was a “Whip-it” gun a 12 ga. semi auto barrel and stock sawed off so it could carried concealed in a coat. I would go to a local gun store and ask for them to show you some guns availible in the 30s. expect some shotguns, revolvers in .38 special auto loaders in .38 super and .45 acp you get a really good idea just by stoping by fo a few minutes.
